It involves taking a history to look for any risk factors.
Usually, a cervical smear will be performed to screen for cervical cancer.
In some cases, a pelvic ultrasound scan is done to rule out pathology.
Women over 40 should have regular breast imaging.
How Often Should I Visit My Gynaecologist?
Usually once a year. With some gynaecological conditions, more frequent visits are needed.
Can all the Tests be done in the Clinic?
Most tests including cervical smear, ultrasound scans and blood tests can be done in the clinic.
Others like mammograms and CT scans can be ordered.
There are some procedures that require hospital admission and can be arranged.
